- Relapsing Fever
- SYMPTOMS may include high fever, chills, vomiting, headache, joint & muscle
- pain, delirium, jaundice and a reddish rash on the extremities and trunk.
- Rose-colored spots follow the rash. Signs may disappear after 3 to 10 days
- then return at 1 to 2 week intervals.
- CAUSES are from spirochete bacteria that is transmitted by lice and ticks.
- TREATMENT. Medication for vomiting and headaches. Antibiotics are effective.
